(All Vietnam) If you get a chance to visit Mu Cang Chai – a rural district of Yên Bái Province, in the Northeast region of Vietnam, you will be absolutely amazed by the majestic beauty of terraced rice. The best time to visit Mu Cang Chai is the grain season (around from September 15 to October 20). There is a slight change every year, you can call the hotels located here to ask for the rice status and plan your trip.
You can get to Mu Cang Chai by motorbike or by bus from Hanoi. For adventurers, renting a motorcycle to travel around this destination will maximize the enjoyment, allowing a wonderful experience. You can choose anywhere that favors your eyesight to stop and take photos or even have some light meals. Some beautiful stop can be named as: La Pan Tan terraces, Lim Mong valley, Khau Pha pass (the longest pass in Nothern Vietnam). La Pan Tan area is highly recommended to explore the most beautiful terraces and take extreme unique photos.
From the top of any hill, looking down, tourists can see stunning scenery, created by many terraced fields stretching down the mountain side. Under the blue sky, surrounded by sun rays, hundreds of stepped rice fields carved into the green valley, imposing the eyes with picturesque landscape.
